provided by the Sine Nomine Quartet, Lausanne.
Swiss Reception:
The Ceremony will be
followed by a Swiss Reception in the Foyer of
the Lecture Hall or on the Piazza in front of the
building depending on the weather.
Snacks and drinks
are sponsored by the Canton de Vaud, the Institute
of Materials of the EPFL and the Eidgenössische
Materialprüfungs- und Forschungsanstalt.
The participation is free
of charge, but the max number of guests is limited
by the capacity of the hall. Please register in advance
for the Opening Ceremony.

Poster
Evening, Poster Session I
The poster evening on Monday
will give poster authors of the Poster Session I the
opportunity to be available in front of their poster
in order to discuss their subject and respond to questions.
Meet the authors at their
posters after the lecture programme. Complimentary
snacks and beer will be offered. The best two posters
of each Session will be awarded a prize that consists
of a voucher to be used at a renowned publishing house.
The winners will be presented immediately after the
Plenary Session on Tuesday morning.

Instead of a Congress Dinner:
Open-Air Get-Together. Meet Danny Daniels, the magician,
and enjoy an exciting evening with European food specialities
and with live music provided by the „Smart“
quartet, neighbours from Fribourg, Switzerland, the
„Suchy Drio“, originating from Salzburg,
Austria, Waymond Harding, based in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Party
Wrap up following good old
Junior Euromat practice. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere
of the lake. Come and join us for a BBQ on the beach.
You may bring along your guitar, a frisbee or a volley
ball.
