4SMARTS 2017 in Braunschweig – Call for Abstracts

Following this year’s successful debut in Darmstadt, 4SMARTS 2017 – the Symposium for Smart Structures and Systems will be held in Braunschweig, Germany, on June 21–22.

For two days, interdisciplinary presentations, posters and a technical exhibition will focus on active, intelligent and adaptive (smart) structures and systems with particular emphasis on the target markets automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering and automation technology. The Symposium encompasses all relevant technology fields from material and component design to the integration of functions and the validation of smart structures and systems in practice.

In addition to traditional applications of active vibration, sound and shape control, lots of further applications such as Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) or Energy Harvesting will be addressed too.

Special attention is payed to technology transfer and related issues concerning the reliability, integration and efficiency of smart systems.

Papers by experts from SMEs and industry are as welcome as papers by experts from the fields of research and development.

Innovation through the focused interlinking of research and application

4SMARTS enables the framework for an intensive exchange in the fields of Mechatronics and Adaptive Systems. The Symposium fosters cooperation and innovation in the fields of smart structures and systems.

An overview of the key subjects/topics can be found here.

The Symposium will be accompanied by an exhibition. During the breaks and on the poster evening, trade visitors and exhibitors will have the opportunity to enter into dialogue/discussion. Would you like to become an exhibition partner and present yourself to the expert audience? Then please contact INVENTUM GmbH.

Take this chance to shape the 4SMARTS Symposium and come to share your ideas and knowledge in Braunschweig.
