Poster Submission Still Open

We'd like to remind you that the poster submission deadline is 01 August 2023, offering a unique opportunity for researchers, scientists, engineers, and students to share their cutting-edge research and ideas. The poster sessions are divided into different thematic areas, providing a platform for all areas of materials science and engineering. Each day of the conference will feature two areas.

A Glimpse into the Social Events

Aside from the enriching academic and professional experiences, FEMS EUROMAT 2023 also invites you to partake in a series of social events. These activities are designed to encourage networking, foster new acquaintances, and provide insights into local specialties. The social events kick off with a Welcome Reception on Sunday evening, followed by Poster Sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Tuesday evening will feature the Congress Dinner and Party, while Monday and Wednesday evenings offer Guided City Tours and a Ride with Ebbelwei-Express.

On Wednesday evening, attendees can participate in an Excursion to the Observatory in Frankfurt, an Organ Concert, and other highlighted events. From Sunday until Friday, participants can also explore other events and highlights in Frankfurt itself.

Tutorials: Delve into Special Topics

One of the exciting components of the conference is the exclusive tutorials offered on Sunday. The tutorials, led by expert instructors, provide opportunities to delve into special topics and deepen understanding in a small group setting. Tutorials include "Introduction to the methods and tools of microstructural analysis" at 1 pm, "Materials Data – A Key Issue in the Digital Transformation of the MSE" at 2 pm, "Sustainability; Challenges and Solutions for our Society" at 2.30 pm, and "Modern methods and tools of holistic and AI-based microstructure analysis" at 3.30 pm. Be sure to register early to secure your spot as spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
