The Women@DGM initiative is excited to announce our next virtual DGM Lunch Talk on "Gender Mindsets / Bias in an International Context" on 14 June 2024. This event, part of our ongoing efforts to promote professional exchange and networking among women in materials science and engineering, will feature short presentations from speakers such as Prof. Dr. Mariana Calin and Prof. Dr. Andréa de Camargo.

Recognizing the importance of discussing these topics in a safe environment, this session will be open to female attendees only. We invite members of our community who are interested in sharing their insights as pitch presenters to contact Women@DGM or Martina Zimmermann directly.

In addition to providing an opportunity to engage with ideas, this event will also serve as a precursor to our in-person session at the MSE Congress 2024 in September in Darmstadt, Germany, where gender issues in European proposals and beyond will be further explored.
